The opening of the smart classroom took place on the 24th of July 2024, today. The new smart room was launched by Hon. Sajith Premadasa, M.P., the opposition leader in parliament, who donated a smart board, desktop computers, a printer, dictionaries, and a generous cash donation to the school under the project “Sakwala”. This event marked his 373rd donation.

Hon. Mano Ganeshan, a member of parliament, Hon Ram and Hon Anuruththa Ratnayake former Provincial council members also graced the event with their presence. The event represents a significant step towards integrating modern technology into the educational system.
