The Science Union and Green Club of Saiva Mangaiyar Vidyalayam organized Illumina 24′, the annual Science day on the 5th July 2024, today. The Chief Guest was Dr. Janaka Adassuriya, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physics at the University of Colombo. Mr. Nusaik, senior innovation officer in National innovation agency ( NIA ). was the Guest of Honour.

Highlights included detailed presentations, theme explanation, thought-provoking dramas, and key speeches by the Manager, Principal, Guest of honour and Chief Guest. The event concluded with a prize distribution for the interschool and Intra school competition.
