Virtual English day titled ‘Cartref 2021’

“A Language shapes the way people perceive the world”. Grade 9, 10 & 11 students along with the English Literary Association of Saiva Mangaiyar Vidyalayam held the Virtual English day titled ‘Cartref 2021’ on the 4th of July (Today). The event has enabled the students to identify and pursue their talents in the sphere of language. Rt.Revd.Dr.Justin.B.Gnanapragasam, Bishop of Jaffna graced the event with his eminent presence and guidance. Mr.T.Thanenthiran, the Senior Lecturer, Dharganagar National College of Education was the Guest of Honour whose presence brought glorious to the occasion. The virtual event was enchanted by the presence of our Special Guest, Mr.M.J. Benildus, In-Service-Advisor, English, Zonal Education Office, Colombo Zone, who enlightened the audience with his commendable insights.The splendid performance built the feel of immortality throughout the event with dramas, songs and dances blending well together.
